We act for a number of clients in the day to day management of their commercial property portfolio. Our duties include:
- Management and administration of shopping centers. We deal with all aspects including rent collection, insurance, estate maintenance, administration and collection of service charges etc.
- Rent collection of commercial properties.
- Portfolio management. Several clients are happy to deal with rent collection and insurance payments themselves, or through their accountants. In such cases we arrange to make visits to the properties, usually twice or four times a year, to provide a point of contact with the tenants and ensure that the property is occupied in a tenant-like manner. We receive a positive response from tenants at the time of our regular visit and it is in both parties’ interests as potential problems can be identified before they develop.
- We advise generally on all matters relating to commercial property management. This includes the appropriate advice at the time of assignment, rent review or at the end of a lease, dilapidations, advice and consultation on issues relating to the portfolio as a whole such as yields and sales advice etc.
